Note: The School Choice Initiative failed to get enough signatures to qualify for the November 2022 ballot but the organizers are saying that it will be back.

School Choice is based on the idea that every child deserves a choice of the school they attend—the education they receive.

 

Under the Educational Freedom Act initiative, parents of every Californian school age child could have received $14,000 annually to spend at a school of their choice. It is a good idea that many other states are also working on. California students and their parents should be able to spend their education dollars at a school of their choice.
